The Longhorns received news last night that they’re top QB prospect since Vince Young was decommiting from the program. Quinn Ewers, the number 1 QB prospect for the class of 2022, committed to the Longhorns on August 14th.

Ewers announced his decision via tweet.

It’s a sad day for folks in Austin. Their football team sits at 3-2 with a tough test against Oklahoma State to avoid their third loss coming up on Saturday. Now, the quarterback compared to Trevor Lawrence and Philip Rivers will now be moving elsewhere.

I love being able to say Texas isn’t back but it truly is mind blowing how they are unable to get top talent from the state of Texas. Top Facilities, a typically winning program, and a great city. I’ve been to Austin for a WVU game. It was incredible. Tom Herman isn’t the answer. They’ll move on from him within the next few years. They will find a way eventually to get out of this hole, but for now, I’ll enjoy making fun of them.
