Tonight is dominated by the National Championship game but we still have a few NBA games and College Basketball games to watch too.

Jake’s Picks

Alabama -1.5 1st Quarter vs Ohio State
8:00 PM

I loved the spread on the game when I got it at 7 earlier in the week. I still like it at 8.5 but I think this is even a better play. Alabama is 10-0-2 after the first quarter this year. Steve Sarkisian will have a great first 15 plays planned and jump out to an early lead.

Alabama -8.5 vs Ohio State
8:00 PM

Like I said, I liked it at 7 and I still like it at 8.5. I wouldn’t go much higher than this but I don’t think Ohio State can get enough stops to keep up. Alabama puts up 50 without trying most weeks. I think they could do it again with the Ohio State corners struggling to keep up with Devonta Smith.

Bucks/Magic under 226
7:00 PM

The Bucks have struggled to start as they enter tonight’s contest 6-4. I don’t think anyone would have guessed that the Magic would jump out to the same record as the Bucks 10 games into the season. Without Giannis in the last game, Milwaukee was only able to put up 100 points. He is expected to play in this one but don’t expect his usual output in an early season game against a non-playoff contender. For Orlando, they rank 29th in the league in field goal percentage and will be going up against one of the best defensive teams in the conference. I don’t think Orlando cracks 100 which gives me a little bit of room to work with on Milwaukee’s side.

Suns -8 vs Wizards
7:00 PM

I’m just gonna keep riding this train until it runs out. The Suns are my NBA team and they are playing so well right now. It’s not just Chris Paul and Devin Booker either. Mikal Bridges is one of the most improved players in the league and not enough can be said about the contribution from the bench. On the other side, Washington is a mess right now. Bradley Beal is out here dropping 35 points per game and can’t get any help from his teammates. Who knows when Russell Westbrook comes back. The Phoenix guards are good enough to slow down Beal and make this an easy win for the Suns.

Hank’s Picks

Short and sweet for Hank tonight. Roll tide.

Alabama -8.5
